Adult Programs (18+)

Safe, adult-oriented classes with friendly instructors. Get fit, tone up, improve your health and have fun.  Adult members at Franklin Martial Arts have numerous programs to chose from, each addressing different avenues of practice and fitness goals; Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Krav Maga, Boxing, Muay Thai, Cardio Kickboxing, TKD Competition Team and Yoga.  You can practice as little as one program at once a week, or as much as all programs, numerous times a week.  Our instructors and staff members will gladly work with you to develop a training program that suits your interest and fitness goals.

Stress Relief
At Franklin Martial Arts, the training is challenging and exciting. Your mind will be occupied by the physical and mental goals of the lesson. You will be focussed on the challenges and therefore experience a detachment from the tensions and problems of daily life. For this reason, as a student at Franklin Martial Arts, you will learn that  martial arts drills and exercises have a meditative effect on the students. 
Learn Self Defense
All our programs offer a degree of self defense training and awareness (except Yoga).  However some programs will focus on it more than others, just like some programs will address cardio and conditioning more than others.  Reading through the different pages of our website will get you more familiar with the different styles.  But ultimately, doing a class will give you the opportunity to try your desired martial art and get some insight from the instructor regarding your specific goals.

Lose Weight
Martial Arts classes consistently focus on starting with warm-up exercises, then stretching.  Martial Arts training will aid the practitioner to gain greater aerobic and anaerobic capabilities, better muscle tone and lower percentage of body fat. It also promotes discipline and self control often leading to a well balanced healthful diet.

Ladies...
Martial Arts classes are full of kicking and punching drills for a superior full body workout! Strengthen and tone while having fun learning an art that incorporates great self defense techniques! 
We offer separate classes for beginners and advanced students, as well as combined classes for all skill levels. You can practice one style, two, or enjoy a mixed martial arts curriculum exploring different styles, at different classes with different instructors.





Whatever your present physical condition, the training is carefully tailored to slowly introduce you to the martial arts. Progress depends entirely on your commitment and consistency. Whatever you put into your training, so will you be rewarded.
